Util System- UI/UX improvement
This project purpose is to improve our util performance, especially for helping and supplying more useful information for Merchant Success Team. And also make it easier and quicker to use as we used very often in daily work.
I asked 80% people in MS team to gather information and suggestions before starting. I wrote it down and summerized all information. For all buttons I used our Bevy libarary.
Here are some important feature we need to improve:
Adding Batch Admin that button in dashboard as we checked this feature quite often. Especially in MS team. We find many stores having batch issues. Otherwise we need to take several steps to get into it. Not a good user experience for now.
In Batch admin page, I added sort by spending time functionality as we can much more easier to check the longest batch running time showing at first and shortest one at the end.
Also in this page, for each store url only showing as ”text”, I change it to link. We can click and goes to shopify partner page. Save users tons of time to copy and paste.
Smaller changes such as highlight shopify-plus merchants url as well as put search bar in a clearly place.
Add ”back to dashboard” button in each page.
For slide bar, remove some items we never use. Also, for adding favorite feature, I modify the icon as clickable showing “add to my quick view list” text. For now, almost nobody knows this handy feature as the icon is too dark and we don’t know there is a feature existing.
Improve the store info page, adding robo info timeline. Also adding a note icon to make tier 1 putting their internal note for this site in each timeline. It is much more easier for tracking history.
Adding search all functionality in theme editor page. This feature is for install team. We do need it to make install easier as 50% merchant we didn’t get access but still need to do full installation.
